Over the years our weekly bonus ball competition has proved to be a popular and effective means of raising money for the club. It currently has some vacant numbers, and I invite you to join and take a number, or if you have already joined to take another number.  The competition is simple to understand and easy to operate.  In order to minimise admin, subscriptions are collected by Standing Order. Full details are in the Bonus Ball form.
This is how the competition operates:
A National Lottery draw takes place every Saturday. In addition to the six Lotto numbers drawn a bonus ball number is also drawn.  Numbers between 1 and 49 are purchased by Club members for a monthly entry fee of £5 per number.  The member whose number is drawn as the Saturday Lotto bonus ball wins £25. The remaining money collected goes towards club funds.
For those months (2 in every 3) in which there are 4 Saturdays the fourth one will be a ‘rollover’ with a winner’s prize of £50.  Each week’s competition winner receives a cheque for the appropriate amount. ...........................................................Walter.
