In a month of cancelled games, one bright spot was the performance of young Graham Oliver. On Friday the 16th July he did get a game for Forth Valley U14's and did well with the bat.20/7/2002

v Falkland at Falkland The under 13 players coped well in this U13-U15 game. The experience of playing against a team with some district level players helps improve their understanding of the game. The contest was played on one of the few days in July when the sun shone. Falkland took first strike got off to a good start. Due to rusty Clackmannan fielding, not surprising considering the rain which has been our constant companion this season, Falkland scored 104 for 4 in 20 overs. Frank Robertson 22, David Lindsay 15. Graham Oliver 2 for 17. The Clackmannan reply did not get off to the same splendid start, however, the team rallied and by the end of their overs had tied the game at 104 for 7.
