Thursday 20th November. Congratulations to Linda Ross who has taken over as the new Junior Convenor for the club as from the AGM (20th November 2008).

Forth Valley Academy. Congratulations to Blair Campbell, Jamie McCann, Charlie McNish, Elliot Milton, Graham Oliver, Dan Smith and Ralf Watson on being selected for the Academy squad.

Forth Valley development squads The list of players for these squads will be "updated"!! at the beginning of 2009 and players will be informed by letter. Please reply even if you cannot attend.

The junior section is shutting down for the whole of July for holidays!

Wednesday 18th June ... Clackmannan U13 v Stirling U13 Stirling 97 for 7 in 20 overs, Clackmannan 98 for 7 in 18 overs. Greig Taylor was at the game - "A very good game, that was well contested.  Some excellent bowling by Sandy Cunningham and Gordon McPhail, backed up by good fielding by everyone, allowed Clackmannan to restrict their rivals to below 100. Clackmannan County batted very sensibly, mixing the order allowing for younger guys to bat with more experienced players.  Sandy Cunningham and Ralph Watson both retired, with good support from Robbie Cunningham and Andrew Lamb, the team overhauled the Stirling score with 3 wickets and 2 overs to spare." 

Friday 16th May The under 13's played Broomhall at Broomhall. In a close game Clackmannan's young team scored 117 for 4 (Sandy Cunningham 25 ret., Ralph Watson 25 ret. Robbie Cunningham 18, Aftab Afzal 11). Broomhall replied with 118 for 3. (Tom Hutchison, Ryan Graham & Liam Shields all took one wicket each).

Monday 12th May The under 15's travelled to Doo'cot Park, Perth to play Strathearn. Strathearn batted first and scored 48 a.o. .( B Campbell 5 for 9, G McPhail 2 for 23.) Clackmannan scored 49 for 6. scorecard The under 13s game at the Arns against Falkland in the Scottish Cup was cancelled Falkland couldn't raise a team.

Friday 9th May U13's v Kinross U13's. After a period of excellent sunny weather, wouldn't you know it drizzled all the way through this encounter. Kinross 140 for 2. Clackmannan 113 for 8 (R Watson 28 ret. S Cunningham 20). Mr Extras scored heavily for both teams.

Friday 2nd May the Under 15 Junior game against Dunfermline was cancelled due to weather conditions.
