Junior practice night is Monday night at The Arns during the cricket season between 6.30pm and 8pm. The outdoor dates for junior practice 2010 are from 19th April until the end of August inclusive. Contact Linda Ross or this site for further details The 2010 indoor junior practice was held in Dollar Academy Games Hall from 7pm till 8 pm on Thursday Evenings from the 7th January every week until 25th March. A Community Cricket coaching course was also held every Monday evening in March at Alloa Academy along with our partners, SportsCentral and Clackmannanshire Sports Development. The juniors are coached in groups according to age and ability. The clubs coaches are all ECB qualified and are Disclosure Scotland checked to allow them to work both in schools and at junior practice nights. Information for parents. The Ronald Cunningham Memorial Quaich, is a Kwik competition for Clackmannanshire Council Primary 6/7 classes, who recieve cricket coaching as part of their curricular physical education. The 2009 winners were Tillicoultry Primary School :. The 2010 competition will be held at the Arns on Monday 31st of May 2010. The winners of this Kwik Cricket Primary school competition at the Arns in May, go through to a National Competition later in the season (probably June). The Clackmannanshire Council Primary 5 schools day, is for schools who recieve cricket coaching as part of their curricular Physical Education. The classes play games and attempt skills workshops. On the festival day the Sports Development fair play award is given to the team who show a good attitude to the game and work together as a team. In 2010 the festival was the Arns on Thursday 20th May from 11.00 am until 2.30 pm. The winners of the fair play award were Strathdevon Primary. During the School Holidays the club runs Junior "come and try" days at The Arns in the first week in August, these are held in partnership with Clackmannanshire Council Sports Development .
