More rain than in any time in living memory dictated that the main action shots in the 2002 season were of the state of the pitch, rather than the excellence of the batting and bowling.

  It's not really funny, the Arns is going to need extensive drainage work done if it is to continue as a cricket field. This is likely to be extremely costly. Where are these lottery tickets again?

The weather in late May, June and July 2002 was dismal. Only one game was played on a grass wicket before mid-summers day.
